We’d like to welcome our community to 2022! With the new year comes new developments regarding Unity Network and its upcoming prediction market, PreSaga. Let’s dive in.
Company Updates
Unity Network is growing! We’ve welcomed a new community manager, Jannik, who is here to help us maintain a culture of mutual respect, ethical communication, and safety within our user community.
Unity leadership is dedicated to engaging not only with our users, but with the wider blockchain community, as well. In support of this, we recently attended the European Blockchain Convention. This proved fruitful, giving us insight into how we can improve and iterate on our future projects, including PreSaga, and our in-development DeFi Learning Portal, dApp Store, and more. Unity’s leadership is comprised of lifelong learners who are eager to absorb the latest blockchain-related research and market trends so that we can make our products consistently best-in-class.
PreSaga Updates
Get ready to put your knowledge to profitable use, PreSaga’s public beta testing is live now! Our testers have already helped our developers and content creators find a number of opportunities for improvement in terms of usability, bug fixes, and safety.
As a reminder, you can join the Saga Squad whale group by holding at least 25,000 UNT. If you hold at least that amount, contact a moderator in our Telegram community and we’ll invite you to participate in the closed beta.
As you all test PreSaga, our legal team will also be combing it over to make sure that our prediction market can operate in as many jurisdictions as possible while remaining within regulatory frameworks. Hacken, a cybersecurity firm, will also audit PreSaga as public beta testing nears completion and any code changes are finalized.
We’re updating PreSaga’s user documentation and privacy policy, and we’re also expanding its whitepaper to include details of how our prediction market will fit into our burgeoning DeFi ecosystem. You’ll soon have all the info you need to take full advantage of what Unity Network has to offer.
In summary, PreSaga will be put through four rigorous tests: closed beta testing, public beta, legal review, and a final code audit. The end result will be a polished, safe prediction market that you can use to turn your intuition and knowledge into potential profit.
Goals for the New Year
No New Year’s celebration is complete without resolutions. Here’s a sneak preview of a few of Unity Network’s goals for 2022.
- Public beta testing, legal review, and code audit for PreSaga
- Launch of PreSaga on the Mainnet, creating a sustainable revenue stream for Unity Network
- Launch of our educational DeFi Portal which will draw in new users from the most common blockchain Google searches
- Launch of Unity Network’s official decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), allowing for easy and meaningful community governance of our growing ecosystem
Despite the serious issues going on throughout the world in 2022, we’re anticipating a good year for Unity Network and for the DeFi field in general. With our growing team dedicated to solving real-world financial problems via the unique innovations and solutions that only blockchain technology can bring, we’re going to make the move from mere development to pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
